This painting is a self portrait and depicts a memory from hiking the Camino Primitivo in Norther Spain (September 2023). The was a trip of a lifetime and I would recommend hiking a Camino trail to anyone - you meet incredible people along the way and it reminds you of what is truly important in life - the simples of things: working your body, eating food to fuel yourself, sleep, and being part of a community (& appreciating the beautiful little things in life).
